So the Put A Bad Beat On Hunger is truly having an impact on helping to end hunger and poverty throughout the South Jersey region. Thanks to the Food Bank’s buying power, they are able to purchase $10 worth of food for every dollar raised. This is our 9th Annual event and we’re proud to say that Cabot and Borgata have helped raise more than $350,000 for the Community FoodBank of New Jersey – Southern Branch. “The 1,100 farm families who own Cabot Creamery Co-operative are proud to once again present the “Put a Bad Beat On Hunger” poker tournament at Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa. Event 4 starts at 11am, but late registration is available until about 4:15pm (start of level 10). Come on out and join the fun this tomorrow, July 15th. In addition to the prize money and trophy, the winner will receive a $3,500 entry in the 2017 Borgata Poker Open Championship event, courtesy of the Cabot Creamery Co-operative. Each entry will include a $10 donation to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, Southern Branch. The Saturday Series Deep Stack NLH event, which carries a $100,000 guarantee on total buy-ins, it a very popular event and this year it is also a charity event sponsored by Cabot Creamery.
